Dear abcam-Team I am planning an ELISA assay and was wondering about the amount of Anti-6X Histag antibody (ab49936) I need for the experiment. Your webpage gives already a detail procedure (see attached file). However the volume is not indicated. If I use 50uL of a 2.4ug/mL solution (1-10 ug/mL recommended), then the 100uL Anti-6X Histag antibody (ab49936, 2.4mg/mL) will only allow me to coat 20.8 plates (96well). Is this the target value?

Using 50ul of diluted antibody per well is an adequate amount although this amount may be optimized in your experiments. As this product is an unpurified ascites fluid, I would recommend using a slightly higher concentration of this product closer to 10ug/ml. At that concentration the 2.4mg.ml Anti06x His tag antibody would provide emugh product to coat about three 96 well plates.
