Question (70495) | Recombinant HIV1 gp120 protein (ab73769)

Inquiry: I am just interested in further details/clarifications of product information. Your product datasheet says amino acids 30-110, but the link that you give for the answer to question 2 (http://www.uniprot.org/blast/?about=P04578[33-511]) says amino acids 33-510. Either way, are the amino acid #s relative to the sequence given in the link. A molecular weight would be helpful. Also, are there any tags (like 6x his) added to this protein

Thank you for contacting us. The link does bring you to the sequence for the full protein and from there you can pull out the actual sequence of the protein fragment which is aa 3-110 as stated on the datasheet. I am not sure why it comes up highlighted in yellow to aa 510, but the MW works out to be ˜ 13 kD. There are no tags added to this protein. Please let me know if you have any further questions.
