    Cell line: A431 (Human epithelial carcinoma).
    Cells were cultured in medium supplemented with 10 ng/mL EGF (epidermal growth factor) for 10 minutes at 37°C immediately prior to harvesting.
    We recommend aliquoting the extracts into single use fractions and then storing.

  • Background

    A431 cells are a positive control for EGFR as they express high levels of EGFR. They also used for cell cycle studies and can be stimulated with EGF to stimulate EGFR and are therefore a very useful model to study EGFR downstream signalling cascades eg shc, src, MAPK.

J'ai mis en place l'envoi d'une unité gratuite de lysat de A431 (Human epithelial carcinoma cell line) Nuclear Lysate - EGF treated, référence ab14635. Le numéro de commande est : *****.

Ce lysat est recommandé comme contrôle positif pour STAT5 phosphorylé et devrait convenir également pour l'anti-STAT5 ab7969.
