Additional data

Additional Notes
I found this antibody totally unsuitable for detection of ABCA1 in RAW cells +/- dbcAMP however when using your monoclonal anti mouse antibody (borrowed aliquot from a collegue) I got a very clean blot with the expected 220kDa band. In previous blots with the 7360 antibody I had no specific bands, and more specifically no bands were detected at higher molecular weights even when using the primary at 1/1000 dilution. I would be grateful for any feedback as to why bands were seen with the monoclonal and not the polyclonal.
Abcam response
Thank you for your feedback. You also contacted the technical team regarding this problem and we have offered you a replacement vial of ab18180 after diagnosing that your vial of ab7360 is likely to have been unfortunately damaged. We hope you will be satisfied with the replacement vial.
