    Lane 1 : Extracts from COLO205
Lane 2 : Extracts from COLO205 with immunising peptide at 5 µg

Lysates/proteins at 5 µg per lane.

    Predicted band size: 124 kDa
    Observed band size: 130 kDa
why is the actual band size different from the predicted?
Additional bands at: 105 kDa, 150 kDa, 85 kDa. We are unsure as to the identity of these extra bands.

  • IHC image of ab69597 staining in human hippocampus formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue section, performed on a Leica BondTM system using the standard protocol F. The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH6, epitope retrieval solution 1) for 20 mins. The section was then incubated with ab69597, 5µg/ml, for 15 mins at room temperature and detected using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. The section was then counterstained with haematoxylin and mounted with DPX.

For other IHC staining systems (automated and non-automated) customers should optimize variable parameters such as antigen retrieval conditions, primary antibody concentration and antibody incubation times.

Customer reviews and Q&As

Thank you for taking the time to contact us. I am sorry to hear you have had difficulty obtaining satisfactory results from this antibody.

To answer your question regarding the immunogen preparation and carrier, I have contacted our laboratories and will get back to you as soon as I have further information. I appreciate your patience.

I would like to reassure you that this antibody is tested and covered by our 6 month guarantee for IHC-P, WB, ELISA and in mouseandhuman samples. In the event that a product is not functioning in the tested applications and species cited on the product data sheet (and the problem has been reported within 6 months of purchase), we will be pleased to provide a credit note, free of charge replacement or refund.

Regrettably, this antibody has not been tested in Lymnaea stagnalis, so we are unable to provide the guarantee. However, I can suggest it would be beneficial to consider including a mouse or human positive control which we can provide our guarnatee for. This will also help to show how well the antibody is working, and help with optimization of the results.

I would like to investigate this particular case further for you, and also obtain more information for our quality monitoring records. In order to proceed with this, I would like to send a technical questionnaire. I would appreciate if you could let me know what type of application you are using (for example, WB or ICC), and I can then send therelevant form. The form will help you put the information we require together very easily.

I would appreciate if you are also able to provide an image which would help us to assess the results.

Thank you for your time and cooperation. We look forward to hearing from you with the requested information.

TThank you for contacting us.

We do offer a number of products against the 10 Adenylate cyclase types however we do not currently have any products which will recognize all forms of this protein.

I have linked both a Uniprot search and a catalog search of the related antibodies to the different Andynelate cyclase types which we do carry.
