  • Anti-AHA1 antibody [25F2.D9] (ab91259) at 1/1000 dilution + Human cell line lysate

    Predicted band size: 38 kDa

  • ab91259 staining AHA1 in HeLa cells by ICC/IF (Immunocytochemistry/immunofluoresence). Cells were fixed with 4% PFA for 20 minutes at room temperature. Samples were incubated with primary antibody (1/100) for 1 hour at room temperature. A Fluoroscein-conjugated goat anti-rat IgG secondary antibody was used.
  • Paraffin-embedded mouse back skin tissue stained for AHA1 using ab91259 at 1/100 dilution in immunohistochemical analysis. Secondary antibody is FITC Goat Anti-Rat.

  • ab91259 used in the Immunoprecipitation of AHA1 from Human Hela cells. The antibody was used at 20µl per 1 ml of cell lysate (50mM Tris (pH 7.2); 150mM NaCl; 1mM MgCl2; 1% TX-100; protease inhibitors); captured on 20µl of protein G beads .

Thank you for contacting us. We have 4 anti-AHA1 antibodies: ab91259, ab83036, ab56721 and ab64998. The first 3 antibodies were raised against the full length mouse or human protein, respectively. The sequence homology with these proteins and zebrafish is 60% whereas the residues 1-31 have a homology of 100%. However, the epitope has not been mapped and we do not know where the antibody will bind the protein. Only ab64998 was raised against an internal peptide sequence. I am in touch with the lab to check what region had been selected and to check homology. We usually say that a homology of 85% or higher has a good chance of cross reactivity. With 60% homology I am not sure. If the epitope happens to be in the N-terminal region however, the likelihood of binding to the zebrafish protein would be very high, though. I will be in touch as soon as I have more information about ab64998. Please let me know if you would like to try one of the above antibodies. I hope this information is helpful to you. However, we have another HSP90 antibody that was tested in zebrafish: ab13494 (https://www.abcam.com/Hsp90-antibody-16F1-ab13494.html) - it would be guaranteed for this species as well as the listed tested applications. For Aha1, we do not have an antibody tested in this species. But if you please could send me the protein sequence for zebrafish, I'd be happy to check homology and to see whether any of the Aha1 antibodies can be used for this species.
