Have this antibody tried in frozed sections? . Since, apparently cross react with angiotensin II. How do you know the results by immunoassay were correct? and wher did you published those results. Julio Valencia. MD Pathology Section NHLBI-NIH

Specificity of the antiserum is confirmed by its ability to bind labelled Angiotensin I in precipitation, partition, or adsorption assays. Native Angiotensin I competes with such binding, while human whole plasma or plasma proteins do not. The antiserum reacts also with Angiotensin II. The use of the antiserum is recommended for quantitative immunoassays of Angiotensin I. This product has not been tested on frozen sections.
