Inquiry: I need some informations about the soluability. How can I soluble Azathioprine (can I sterile filter it) and how should I store the working stocks I prepare?
Asked on Nov 15 2013
I can confirm the following:
1. The Azathioprine (Azasan, Imuran) can be dissolved in DMSO up to a concentration of 54 mg/mL.
2. The molecule is quite small so it should be fine in sterile filtering. However this is not something we test so regrettably we cannot guarantee it.
3. The stocks can be stored for up to 6 months at -80°C in DMSO.
