What is the molecular weight of this antibody?
Asked on Jan 09 2012
Thank you for contacting us. PA is cleaved from the 83 kDa form to the 63 kDa form at amino acids 164-167. Thus the antibody (made against amino acids 250-250) should recognize both the 83 kDa and 63 kDa PA forms, but not the 20 kDa cleavage fragment. I hope this information is helpful to you. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you need any more advice or information.
