The datasheet indicates that 1 ug/mL can detect 10 ng of free peptide. Is "free peptide" the immunogenic peptide, or recombinant full-length protein? Are more details of this assay available?

The antibody ab21268 has been tested in a direct ELISA against the free immunogen peptide unconjugated to any carrier protein. Peptide was coated to the wells of a 96-well plate, and 1 ug/mL antibody solution gave a signal at coating density 10 ng per well.
