However, I can tell you in response to your questions; 1 How has the antibody to BAM22P been characterized? A) It was previously characterized through radioimmunoassays but is now characterized through use of dot blots. 2 What is the selectivity of anti-BAM22P for the COOH terminus? A. There are 3 amino acids of importance as antigenic determinants, which are Pro-11, Glu-12, and the C-terminal Gly-22. I would also like to direct you to reference #2, listed below, as a source of helpful information regarding this topic. 3 Have you determined if this antibody shows cross-reactivity to the enkephalins, dynorphins or beta-endorphin? A) This antibody does not cross-react with Met-Enkephalin or BAM12P. 4 In your specification sheet, it was written that The antibody is routinely tested by dot blot. What does dot blot mean? What is this test for?
