We can confirm that both of these peptide are lyophilised solids – in TFA salt form.

For ab120301, reconstitute in100% DMSO which should re-suspend the peptide. This solution should be incubated at room temperature for 12 minutes, with occasional vortexing. The final solution should then be aliquoted into smaller volumes and stored at -80 °C. For a working solution, add 500-1000 µl of D-PBS (depending on the final concentration to be used) to the peptide stock solution and incubate for 2h at room temperature to allow for peptide aggregation.

For ab120479, it can also be reconstituted in DMSO but for maximum biological activity, dilute in calcium-free PBS to a concentration of 1 mg/ml and incubate at 37°C for 4 days prior to use.

Thank you for your call yesterday and for your patience while I have been in touch with my colleagues in the lab.

I have confirmed that the molecular weight listed (4329.86) is only the peptide and does not include the salt content. So, to calculate the molarity of a solution, you will need to also know the peptide content for the lot you are using (74.6% for batches the lots in stock). If you measure 1 mg of the product, only 0.746 mg is peptide, so you can calculate the molarity using that mass.

As we do not currently undertake our own research, I can offer advise based on published literature. Regarding the solubility of this compound, for maximum biological activity, dilute in calcium-free PBS to a concentration of 1 mg/ml and incubate at 370C for 4 days prior to use.
