Question

I would like to choose primary antibodies from you. My labmate recommend you to me. ^_^

I have checked some products from your website. There are several quesitons as follows:

1 For neurofilament primary antibodies, you have different antibodies, anti-68kD, anti-160kD, anti-200kD. For my immunocytochemistry of chicken forebrain neurons, to get a bright fluorescent signal, which kind of antibody you recommend?

2 For beta III Tubulin primary antibodies, you have monoclonal [TU-20] and [2G10], do you know which one is richer in chicken forebrain neurons?

Thank you so much!

Answer

Thank you for contacting us.

I think either of the two beta III tubulin clones will be effective, but I would choose ab7751 (the TU-20 clone) simply because it has been published in more references than the other clone, ab78078 (2G10 clone).

For staining neurofilaments, I recommend ab72997, anti-68kDa Neurofilament.

I hope this information is helpful to you. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you need any more advice or information, for instance about which secondary antibodies you will need.
