Tissue specificitySeems to be restricted to the hematopoietic compartment. Expressed in peripheral blood, spleen, and bone marrow, at moderate levels in lung, small intestine and testis, at a minimal levels in other tissues. Also found in vascular smooth muscle cells and hematopoietic malignancies.

Ab75887 was tested on human B cell lines by Dr Natalie Bonnefoy-Berard and colleagues.
Detection of endogenous human BFL-1/GRS in total lysates of B cell lines and in transfected 3T3 and 293T cells by ab75887.
Expression in B cell lines as detected by ab75887 correlates with mRNA levels as detected by RT-PCR, further confirming the specificity of the antibody.
