We have not tested the antibody ab3968 for immunoprecipitation, and we have not received reports from any customers who have tried it for IP. It is possible it will be useful for IP but we have no data that confirms this.

We have one other antibody against this target, blood group Lewis B, also monoclonal, but it is untested for IP. Here is a URL link to the datasheet:

For IP with monoclonal antibodies,a better yield and greater specificity can be obtained by mixing monoclonal antibodies raised against the same protein and then adding the mixed antibodies to the sample, rather than trying to IP with a single monoclonal antibody.
