Dear abcam, Could the recombinant protein for human BMP4 (ab92855) be used as a positive control in western blot experiments for your Anti-BMP4 antibody (ab39973)? If not could you recommend another combination of positive control/antibody for application in western blot targetting BMP4. Kind regards,

Thank you for your enquiry. The ab92855 BMP4 protein (MBP) and ab39973 BMP4 antibody have both been tested and guaranteed in western blot. The two products have not been specifically tested together in the laboratory, but as the protein is full length, it should be detected by the ab39973 antibody. I hope this will be helpful to you.
