  • Function

    Transcriptional coactivator that specifically associates with either OCT1 or OCT2. It boosts the OCT1 mediated promoter activity and to a lesser extent, that of OCT2. It has no intrinsic DNA-binding activity. It recognizes the POU domains of OCT1 and OCT2. It is essential for the response of B-cells to antigens and required for the formation of germinal centers.

  • Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/PFA-fixed paraffin-embedded sections) analysis of Human tonsil tissue sections labeling BOB1 with Purified ab99891 at 1/100 dilution (0.96 µg/ml). Heat mediated antigen retrieval was performed Heat mediated antigen retrieval with Bond� Epitope Retrieval Solution 1 (pH 6.0) for 20mins. Goat Anti-Rabbit & Mouse IgG (HRP) was used as the secondary antibody. Negative control: PBS instead of the primary antibody. Hematoxylin was used as a counterstain.
