In the datasheet prostate carcinoma is given as a positive control. Using this antibody a positivity in normal prostate tissue is also obtained. The positivity in normal prostate tisssue is stronger than the prostate carcinoma. (Picture at left: Normal prostate tissue x200 Picture at right: Prostatic adenocarcinomax400)
Is positivity in normal prostate tissue also expected?
Thank you for your feedback. Prostate carcinoma is a positve control since it has used in characterization test for this antibody. Unfortunately, we don’t have information whether normal prostate tissue should express B Raf protein or not.
