Additional data

Additional Notes
We are using a rat beta cell line that produces rat insulin. We have purchased the C peptide antibody with the understanding that it was specific to human. Unfortunately we have discovered that it also recognizes rat C peptide. This obviously makes this antibody useless to us.
Abcam response
Thank you for your valuable feedback and for participating in our Abtrial testing program. As mentioned on the data sheet, we guarantee this antibody is used for human sample in ELISA, RIA and ICC/IF, while this antibody has not been tested with rat before, and it is possible that this antibody may also recognize rat C Peptide.
