Inquiry: My lab purchased your anti-CACNA1A antibody (ab32642) several months ago. We are trying to get it to cross react in Xenopus. Could you please provide us with the immunogenic sequence for the antibody, so we can perform a BLAST analysis against the Xenopus CACNA1A sequence? Or perhaps, if you would rather protect this information, you could just let us know what percent identity is conserved between your sequence and Xenopus (XP_002940668). Thank you very much!

Thank you very much for contacting us with your question.
The immunogen of ab32642 is 13 amino acids long, and 10 of these amino acids are identical to the Xenopus XP_002940668 (77% identity). There are 7 consecutive identical amino acids.
I hope that this information will be useful, but if you have any further questions or need anything else, please let me know and I'll be happy to help.
