IHC image of CAMTA1 staining in human hippocampus formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue section, performed on a Leica BondTM system using the standard protocol F. The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH6, epitope retrieval solution 1) for 20 mins. The section was then incubated with ab64119, 1µg/ml, for 15 mins at room temperature and detected using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. The section was then counterstained with haematoxylin and mounted with DPX.

      Question

We are looking for good antibody for anti-mouse CAMTA antibody. Anti-CAMTA1 antibody (ab64119) is designed to against human Camta1, but its is also predicted to work with Mouse. Could you tell us the seqence of synthetic peptide you used, so we can tell how much difference between human and mouse? Or just tell us if the peptide sequence you used for this antibody is completely conserved in human and mouse. Thanks.
