Odyssey detection system used (intensity 2.5). Nitrocellulose membrane used, lysis buffer was 50mM Tris-HCL, 10mM EDTA and 5mM EGTA (pH 7.6). Roche complete protease inhibitor tablets used.
Abcam response
Mouse and rat were not a recommended species for ab10471 and based on the low homology between human and mouse and rat Carbonic Anhydrase IX protein it might be possible that this antibody it is not suitable for use in mouse and rat. Abcam would like to recommend that researches interested in detecting Carbonic Anhydrase IX in mouse and rat would use a different antibody.
