Good morning: I´m working with IHC-P in order to detect apoptosis in neuronal cells in neonatal rats brains exposed to anesthetic. I need buy a antibody to mark active form of caspase 3, but I find several options in your brochure. I really appreciate if you could advised what antibody (ab2302, ab13847, ab44976, ab4051) is better to my purpose. Thank you in advance,

Thank you for your enquiry. I would like to reassure you that our antibodies have all been tested successfully and would be covered by our guarantee in the applications and species listed on the datasheets. Therefore, any Caspase 3 antibody tested in the species and application you are using should be suitable and guaranteed for your experiments. I am pleased to let you know that ab2302, ab13847, ab44976 and ab4051 have been tested on rat samples and in IHC-P and would be covered by our guarantee for use in this species and application. I can confirm that ab13847 tested in IHC-P on adult rat brain in an Abreview. I can recommend to review this on the datasheet for further information. ab13847 (please click on the Abreviews tab at the top of the page and review the IHC-P Abreviews) https://www.abcam.com/index.html?datasheet=13847 https://www.abcam.com/index.html?datasheet=13847. I am sorry we have no further data on the use of the antibodies in neuronal cells in neonatal rats brains exposed to anesthetic. Although we produce many in-house antibodies, we obtain other antibodies from a wide range of sources. Therefore, comparison experiments will not often have been done. I hope this will be helpful to you. Should you have any further questions please do not hesitate to ask.
