  • Function

    Receptor for a C-C type chemokine. Binds to MIP-1-alpha, MIP-1-delta, RANTES, and MCP-3 and, less efficiently, to MIP-1-beta or MCP-1 and subsequently transduces a signal by increasing the intracellular calcium ions level. Responsible for affecting stem cell proliferation.

Since the antibody was raised against the full length protein (Recombinant full length protein (Human): CCR1), and epitope mapping has not been performed - we do not have information about where the antibody binding site would be on the protein. Thank you for contacting us for technical support and the protocol details, the image is very useful to understand the customer's problem. Is the customer using A357 cell lysate, not A375? This is a good positive control and ab19013 should work very well with it. The streaks on the lanes make me and my colleagues believe the problem is due to something gone off or missing in the migration process, it could be the gel, the buffers or the state of the samples too, especially as there are few protease inhibitors in the lysis buffer. Can I also confirm that the gel is reducing and the samples were reduced? What is the loading buffer recipe and gel recipe? Is there SDS in the running buffer? Finally, how long did the customer block the membrane for? Has the customer tried 5%BSA 1hr and incubating the antibody in TBST?
