I bought your mouse monoclonal antibody to CD137. I found an unspecific binding band in my concentrated HEK293F cell supernatant. The size of this unspecific band is around 70KD. Which CD137 extracelluar epitope this antibody surposed to bind. May this antibody bind to other protien, such as other TNFR superfamily proteins.

Thank you for contacting us. The immunogen is between aa to aa of human protein. This antibody should pick up the target protein at 30-35kDa. As the target protein could form dimers, is the 70kDa band its dimer molecules? We recommend using beta-Mercaptoethanol or DTT with anoinic denaturing detergent in your loading buffer and heating your sample at 95C in this reducing-denaturing buffer for 5 minutes. You may increase boiling time to 10 minutes if neccessary. I hope this information is helpful to you. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you need any more advice or information.
