Relevance
CD15 is a carbohydrate adhesion molecule (and not a protein) that mediates phagocytosis and chemotaxis. Synthesis is directed by FUT4 in lymphoid cells and mature granulocytes, and by FUT9 in promyelocytes and monocytes. -

Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/PFA-fixed paraffin-embedded sections) analysis of Mouse kidney tissue sections labeling CD15 with ab135377 at 1/50 dilution (3.14 µg/ml). Heat mediated antigen retrieval with Bond™ Epitope Retrieval Solution 2 (pH 9.0) for 10mins. Goat Anti-Rabbit & Mouse IgG (HRP) was used as the secondary antibody. Hematoxylin was used as a counterstain. Positive staining on proximal tubular epithelial cells in the mouse kidney, performed on a Leica Biosystems BOND™ RX instrument.
