Additional Notes
Lung tissue from mice injected with MDA-MB-231 cells fixed in 4% PFA for 24h, blocked in 10% BSA for 1h, incubated with primary antibody for 1h, followed by 1h incubation with secondary antibody ab7090 and finally with TSA fluorescence amplification kit for 10min. Very good signal when used along with Perkin Elmer TSA Fluorescence Kit, not tested by us without. Specific and very strong staining to human CD44, which allows for easy visualization of micro-metastases in mouse lungs due to CD44 being overexpressed in MDA cells.
