Our Abpromise guarantee covers the use of ab218829 in the following tested applications.
The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
RelevanceCD62L is a cell surface component that is a member of a family of adhesion/homing receptors. These play important roles in leukocyte-endothelial cell interactions. CD62L is composed of multiple domains: one homologous to lectins, one to epidermal growth factor, and two to the consensus repeat units found in C3/C4 binding proteins.
Cellular localizationCell Membrane; single-pass type I membrane protein.

Flow cytometric analysis of rat primary splenocytes labeling CD62L with ab218829 at 1/500 dilution (top right panel), compared with a Rabbit IgG, monoclonal [EPR25A] - Isotype Control (ab172730) (Upper left). Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG H&L (Alexa Fluor® 488) (ab150077) at 1/2000 dilution was used as the secondary antibody.
Top panel: Cells were stained with Alexa Fluor® 647-conjugated CD3 and rabbit IgG (Left) or anti-CD62L RabMab (Right). Data shown was gated on viable cells.
Down regulation of CD62L on activated T cells (CD3+FSChigh, blue) compared to Naïve T cells (CD3+CD62L+, red) was shown on the bottom panel.
