  • General notes

Ab239348 is the carrier-free version of ab223292. This format is designed for use in antibody labeling, including fluorochromes, metal isotopes, oligonucleotides, enzymes.

Our carrier-free formats are supplied in a buffer free of BSA, sodium azide and glycerol for higher conjugation efficiency.

Use our conjugation kits  for antibody conjugates that are ready-to-use in as little as 20 minutes with <1 minute hands-on-time and 100% antibody recovery: available for fluorescent dyes, HRP, biotin and gold.

ab239348 is compatible with the Maxpar® Antibody Labeling Kit from Fluidigm.

Maxpar® is a trademark of Fluidigm Canada Inc.

Our RabMAb® technology is a patented hybridoma-based technology for making rabbit monoclonal antibodies. For details on our patents, please refer to RabMab® patents.

This product is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody.

Our Abpromise guarantee covers the use of ab239348 in the following tested applications.

The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.

ICC/IF Use at an assay dependent concentration.
Flow Cyt Use at an assay dependent concentration.

  • Function

Cytokine that binds to CD27. Plays a role in T-cell activation. Induces the proliferation of costimulated T-cells and enhances the generation of cytolytic T-cells.
  • Sequence similarities

Belongs to the tumor necrosis factor family.
  • Cellular localization

  • Information by UniProt

  • Flow cytometric analysis of P815 (Mouse mastocytoma mast cell, left) and A20 (Mouse reticulum sarcoma cell line, right) cell lines labeling CD70 with ab223292 at 1/500 (red) compared with a Rabbit monoclonal IgG (ab172730) (black) and an unlabeled control (cells without incubation with primary antibody and secondary antibody) (blue). Goat anti rabbit IgG (Alexa Fluor® 488, ab150077), at 1/2,000 dilution was used as the secondary antibody.

    Gated on viable cells.

    Negative control: P815.

This data was developed using the same antibody clone in a different buffer formulation containing PBS, BSA, glycerol, and sodium azide (ab223292).

  • Immunofluorescent analysis of 4% paraformaldehyde-fixed, 0.1% Triton X-100 permeabilized A20 (Mouse reticulum sarcoma cell line) cells labeling CD70 with ab223292 at 1/2,000 dilution, followed by Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG H&L (Alexa Fluor® 488) (ab150077) secondary antibody at 1/1,000 dilution (green).

Confocal image showing membranous staining in A20 cells with distinct staining of the target protein being transported from Golgi to cell surfaces (PMID: 20971706; PMID: 29496042).

    Negative control: P815 (PMID: 9620608).

Counterstained with ab195889 Anti-alpha Tubulin antibody [DM1A] - Microtubule Marker (Alexa Fluor® 594) at a 1/200 dilution (red). The nuclear counter stain is DAPI (blue). The negative control is the secondary antibody only.

This data was developed using the same antibody clone in a different buffer formulation containing PBS, BSA, glycerol and sodium azide (ab223292).
