Our Abpromise guarantee covers the use of ab80407 in the following tested applications.
The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
Is unsuitable for WB. ab80407 has not performed satisfactorily when used for WB of CDCA3 in crude preparations (e.g. whole cell lysate). This antibody can be used for WB of enriched (e.g. immunoprecipitated) sources of CDCA3.
Not yet tested in other applications.
Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
RelevanceCDCA3 (Cell division cycle associated 3) is an F-box-like protein which is required for entry into mitosis. It is associated with SKP1 as part of a SCF (SKP1-cullin-F-box) protein ligase complex, and is required for the ubiquitination and degradation of the CDK1 inhibitory tyrosine kinase WEE1 at G2/M phase.
Cellular localizationCytoplasmic. Cytosol.

Detection of human CDCA3/TOME1 by Western Blot of Immunoprecipitates. Samples: Whole cell lysate (1 mg for IP, 20% of IP loaded) from HeLa cells. ab80407 was used for IP at 3 µg/mg lysate (Lane 1). Lane 2 represents the control IgG. For subsequent WB, 0.1 µg/ml of ab80407 was used. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 3 minutes.
ab80407 has not yet been referenced specifically in any publications.
