ab181739 is an IgG fraction antibody purified from monospecific antiserum by a multi-step process which includes delipidation, salt fractionation and ion exchange chromatography followed by extensive dialysis against the buffer stated above. Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipition arc against anti-Biotin anti-Goat Serum as well as purified and partially purified Alcaligenes spp. Choline Oxidase.
The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
1/4000 - 1/20000.
ab181739 has been assayed against 1.0 µg of Alcaligenes spp. Choline Oxidase in a standard captured ELISA using Peroxidase Conjugated Streptavidin and ABTS (2,2’-azino-bis-[3-ethylbenthiazoline-6-sulfonic acid]) as a substrate for 30 minutes at room temperature.
Responsible for phosphatidylcholine synthesis via the CDP-choline pathway. Also exhibits ethanolamine kinase activity but at 14% efficiency compared with choline.
ATP + choline = ADP + phosphocholine.
Belongs to the choline/ethanolamine kinase family.
