Asynchronous cells were treated with Staurosporine (1uM for 2 hours) to induce apoptosis. Cells were paraformaldehyde-fixed, permeablized, immunofluorescently labeled and counterstained with DAPI. This antibody produces a strong, nuclear-enriched, focal staining pattern in cells exhibiting hallmarks of apoptosis. MeOH-fixed samples were also evaluated and gave a similar strong staining pattern.
