Our Abpromise guarantee covers the use of ab64465 in the following tested applications.
The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
|WB||Use a concentration of 0.5 µg/ml. Detects a band of approximately 132 kDa (predicted molecular weight: 132 kDa). Good results were obtained when blocked with 5% non-fat dry milk in 0.05% PBS-T.|
|ELISA||Use at an assay dependent concentration.
Titre using peptide based assay 1:312500.
|IHC-P||Use a concentration of 4 - 8 µg/ml.|
RelevanceThe function of COBLL1 is not known but there are five named isoforms produced by alternative splicing.
- COBL like 1 antibody
- Cordon bleu protein like 1 antibody
- KIAA0977 antibody
Anti-COBLL1 antibody (ab64465) at 0.5 µg/ml + HepG2 cell lysate at 10 µg
HRP conjugated anti-Rabbit IgG at 1/50000 dilution
Predicted band size: 132 kDa
Observed band size: 132 kDa
Additional bands at: 42 kDa. We are unsure as to the identity of these extra bands.
ab64465 at 4µg/ml staining COBLL1 in human kidney tissue, epithelial cells of renal tubule (indicated by arrows)
ab64465 staining COBLL1 in human bladder cancer tissue by Immunohistochemistry (formaldehyde fixed sections). Tissue was fixed with formaldehyde, a heat mediated antigen retrieval step was performed using citrate buffer. Tissue was blocked with 1% BSA for 30 minutes at room temperature followed by incubation with the primary antibody, at a 1/80 dilution, for 1 hour. A HRP-conjugated goat anti-rabbit polyclonal was used as secondary antibody un-diluted.
Note that the protein localizes in the cytoplasm.
