From imaging basics and ICC/IF and IHC protocols, to troubleshooting and answers to the most FAQs around immunofluorescence, our online training will teach you how to run your experiments and help troubleshoot them.

Abcam fluorescent imaging training is divided into 4 parts:

                            • Part 1 introduces you to microscopy and cell counting basics such as using a confocal microscope and a hemocytometer as well as implementing a good aseptic technique for cell imaging.
                            • Part 2 teaches you how to choose the right antibody for your fluorescent imaging experiment. You’ll also learn the difference between direct and indirect staining methods and get a guide for choosing a suitable fluorophore or multiple fluorophores for a multiplex.
                            • Part 3 covers the ICC and IHC protocols, from sample preparation to immunostaining and mounting.
                            • Part 4 helps you to improve your fluorescence microscopy images by troubleshooting the most common problems you might encounter in the lab when running ICC and IHC.

Upon completion of your training, you can test your knowledge with our final quiz and get a certificate.
