  • Relevance
Creatine Kinase MB consists of a dimer of nonidentical chains. With MM being the major form in skeletal muscle and myocardium, MB existing in myocardium, and BB existing in many tissues, especially brain. Creatine Kinase MB reversibly catalyses the transfer of phosphate between ATP and various phosphogens. The creatine kinase isoenzymes play a central role in energy transduction in tissues with large fluctuating energy demands such as skeletal muscle, heart, brain and spermatozoa.

Thank you for your response.

As the datasheets indicates here are the immunogens used for the following antibodies:

ab19603 - Purified Human Creatine Kinase MB,

ab72002 - Recombinant human Creatine Kinase MB protein purified from E.coli

ab405 - Full length native protein (purified) (Human),

I regret to inform you that the originator of this antibody no longer has sufficient stocks for us to be able to make this product available to our customers. We have therefore been forced to withdraw ab405 from our product range.

I do hope that this does not cause you too much inconvenience.

Thank you for your enquiries and your interest.

Currently, we only have two antibodies (ab19603 and ab110655) which have been tested for sELISA - and only ab19603 is monoclonal.

Full length proteins are the followings: ab73649 and 73650; they have been tested in ELISA. Please could you and your customer check the on-line datasheets to see if they are suitable for the assay.

I hope this will be useful for you.

Thank you for contacting us. The tested pair of anti Creatine Kinase MB is ab19603 - ab110655. Please be advised that none of the two antibodies is conjugated so you may need a tertiary conjugated antibody for detection in sELISA. We suggest using mouse mono as capture and polyclonal as detection antibody. Theoretically the proteins ab73649, ab73650, and ab109675 could be used as positive control however we have not particularly tested these antibodies together so we will not be able to guarantee it,. I hope this information is helpful to you. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you need any more advice or information.
