Applications

Our Abpromise guarantee covers the use of ab74785 in the following tested applications.

The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.

Application Abreviews Notes
WB Use a concentration of 1 µg/ml. Detects a band of approximately 28 kDa (predicted molecular weight: 28 kDa). Good results were obtained when blocked with 5% non-fat dry milk in 0.05% PBS-T.
ELISA Use at an assay dependent concentration.

ELISA titre using peptide based assay: 1/312500.

Customer reviews and Q&As

Answer

Thank you for your enquiry.

I am sorry to confirm that ab74785 Anti-CRISP1 antibody has not yet been tested and guaranteed for mouse.

I can let you know that the immunogen used and the mouse CRISP4 sequence share 73% homology (CRISP4 is the highest matching protein in the mouse proteome). I'm sorry I am regrettably not able to send the actual sequence for this particular antibody for commercial reasons.

We recommend that there should be over 85% alignment with the immunogen for an antibody to detect in a different species. At 73% alignment, there could still be some crossreactivity. If you would like to try it in mouse, I would be pleased to provide our testing discount program in this case. Please let me know if you are interested, and I can send you further information.

Otherwise, we would be grateful if you could perhaps consider submitting an Abreview about this product via the online product datasheet. We always encourage customers to send their results back to us, whether positive or negative, and we make all product information available to researchers.

I hope this will be helpful. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
