Additional Notes
The antibody works reasonably well with either a paraformaldehyde (PFA) only or PFA/methanol fixation. PFA fixations are done at room temperature for 10 minutes. The methanol fixation is performed with -20 degrees Celcius at -20 degrees Celcius for 10 minutes. Methanol fixation alone does not produce good results.
The image below shows HeLa cells stained with anti-MAb414 (red) and anti-Crm1 (green) antibodies. The DNA was counterstained with Hoescht 33342.
