FunctionRecognizes and binds the palindromic sequence 5'-TTGGCNNNNNGCCAA-3' present in viral and cellular promoters and in the origin of replication of adenovirus type 2. These proteins are individually capable of activating transcription and replication.

We are unsure as to the identiy of the additional doublet at 74,75kDa in Rat Embryo Brain and as to the band at 45kDa in Mouse and Rat brain.
ICC/IF image of ab41851 stained human HeLa cells. The cells were PFA fixed (10 min), permabilised in PBS-T (20 min) and incubated with the antibody (ab41851, 1µg/ml) for 1h at room temperature. 1%BSA / 10% normal goat serum / 0.3M glycine was used to quench autofluorescence and block non-specific protein-protein interactions. The secondary antibody (green) was Alexa Fluor® 488 goat anti-rabbit IgG (H+L) used at a 1/1000 dilution for 1h. Alexa Fluor® 594 WGA was used to label plasma membranes (red). DAPI was used to stain the cell nuclei (blue).
Ab41851 staining NFIA in motorneurons of rat brain tissue sections by IHC-Fr. Sections were PFA fixed and incubated with ab41851, diluted 1/100, for 24 hours at 4°C. Chromeo™ 488 conjugated goat polyclonal to rabbit IgG ab60314, diluted 1/2000, was used as the secondary antibody.
