What blocking solution was used in flow cytometry?
Asked on May 30 2012
Thank you for your call last week and for your patience while I have been in touch with the lab regarding your enquiry.
This antibody was tested for flow cytometry in an outside laboratory, and all of the protocol details are not available. It was diluted 1:1000 for FC using CX3CR1-transfected cells, so the antibody may need to be used at a higher concentrated for non-transfected cells. We would recommend our standard blocking agent, 10% FCS, though other sera should be fine as well (except for rabbit serum, as this will results in high background from the anti-rabbit secondary antibody).
I am sorry that I don't have more information, but if you have further questions or if there is anything else that we can do for you, please let me know and I'll be happy to help.
