ELISA Use a concentration of 0.5 µg/ml.
Neutralising Use at an assay dependent concentration. To yield one-half maximal inhibition [ND50] of the biological activity of rGRO beta/MIP-2 (100 ng/ml), a concentration of 3.0 - 5.0 µg/ml of this antibody is required.

  • Function

    Produced by activated monocytes and neutrophils and expressed at sites of inflammation. Hematoregulatory chemokine, which, in vitro, suppresses hematopoietic progenitor cell proliferation. GRO-beta(5-73) shows a highly enhanced hematopoietic activity.

My apologies for the delay in answering you. WE have received the following information which I hope will help you: Please see below the sequences for the different rat CINCs. Ab9777 anti-GROb is really CINC-3, not CINC-2-a. At the amino acid level there is greater than 80% homology. We do not produce CINC-2-a or CINC-2-b so we are unable to test the antibody for cross reactivity against these antibodies. Given the high degree of homology the antibody maybe able to detect CINC-2-a and CINC-2-b, but without having tested the antibody for cross reactivity we cannot guarantee that the antibody would cross react. The antibody is an polyclonal IgG antibody.
