  • Application notes
    Neutralization:To yield one-half maximal inhibition [ND50] of the biological activity of hGROb (100.00 ng/ml), a concentration of 0.5 - 1.0 µg/ml of this antibody is required.

    ELISA:To detect hGROb by direct ELISA (using 100µl/well antibody solution) a concentration of at least 0.5µg/ml of this antibody is required. This antigen affinity purified antibody, in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents, allows the detection of 0.2 - 0.4 ng/well of recombinant hGROb.

    Western Blot:To detect hGROb by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1 - 0.2 µg/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant hGROb is 1.5 - 3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.

      Produced by activated monocytes and neutrophils and expressed at sites of inflammation. Hematoregulatory chemokine, which, in vitro, suppresses hematopoietic progenitor cell proliferation. GRO-beta(5-73) shows a highly enhanced hematopoietic activity.

    Thank you for your question regarding ab9841. This antibody was produced against the whole protein CXCL2 and as it is a polyclonal antibody it recognizes a large number of epitopes, some of which may be found in CXCL1 as there is such high homology between the two proteins. Therefore although it has not been tested specifically against CXCL1 it may cross react with this protein.
