WB Use at an assay dependent concentration. To detect mMIP-2 by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1 - 0.2 µg/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant mMIP-2 is 1.5 - 3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.
ELISA Use at an assay dependent concentration. To detect mMIP-2 by direct ELISA (using 100µl/well antibody solution) a concentration of at least 0.5µg/ml of this antibody is required. This antigen affinity purified antibody, in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents, allows the detection of 0.2 - 0.4 ng/well of recombinant mMIP-2.
Neutralising Use at an assay dependent concentration. To yield one-half maximal inhibition [ND50] of the biological activity of mMIP-2 (15 ng/ml), a concentration of 0.52 - 0.9 µg/ml of this antibody is required.

    Produced by activated monocytes and neutrophils and expressed at sites of inflammation. Hematoregulatory chemokine, which, in vitro, suppresses hematopoietic progenitor cell proliferation. GRO-beta(5-73) shows a highly enhanced hematopoietic activity.

Thank you for your enquiry. We have twelve different antibodies raised against CXCL-2-protein (macrophage inflammatory protein). All of the information that we have available for each antibody is listed on the online datasheet. For example, ab9950 has been tested in a Western blot and ELISA against the mouse protein. The information on testing is listed on the datasheet. We have not tested this antibody in IHC and we do not currently have any publications in which the antibody was used.
