    Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, I am not an expert on DAP1 so I don't have any further information about what effect the acetylserine has in the cell. According to the uniprot database, the reference PMID 16602700 contains additional information about this specific acetylation. In general, post translational modifications of proteins can often lead to changes in their subcellular localization or expression level. I am sorry I could not be more helpful, please let me know if you have any further questions.

    Thank you for contacting us. We do not currently sell an antibody to DAP1 that is specific for the N-acetylserine modification. If you are looking to detect this modification, you may be able to perform an IP for the total DAP1 protein using ab32056 and perform a western blot on the IP product using an antibody designed to detect all acetylations such as ab193.
