The immunogen for ab18551 has only a small portion of the eptiope present in isoform 2. It is highly unlikely that this antibody will bind to isoform 2, but we have not performed any testing to confirm this.

As I mentioned in my previous email, the immunogens for the two rabbit monoclonal antibodies below are definitive, so the antibodies should recognize the isoforms listed:

ab40801: specific to isoform 1

ab40802: will recognize both isoforms 1 and 2

Thank you for your enquiry. We have antibodies against both the non-phosphorylated and phospho T75 forms of DARPP32. They are detailed as follows with their associated applications. ab18551 DARPP32 antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal. ELISA, IHC-P, WB ab18552 DARPP32 (phospho T75) antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal. ELISA, IHC, WB Unfortunately neither have been tested using immunoprecipitation. That is not to say that it wont work, just that they havent been tested. At Abcam we have a promise to our customers called the Abpromise such that should an antibody not perform as detailed on the datasheet we will provide a replacement or refund if the customer contacts us within 90 days of delivery. With reference to your follow up question, the datasheet states the predicted molecular weight is 23KDa.
