Additional Notes
This antibody was used in free floating coronal brain sections (30 microns) at room temperature. I used this antibody to stain for flag in a doubly transgenic mouse model (cell-type specific expression of myc or flag-tagged protein). Published data showed that myc and flag are expressed in separate cell types. I have seen this pattern of expression with 3 different flag antibodies in sections co-stained with myc antibody. Ab1162 had a very clear and bright expression, but it also overlapped completely with myc stained neurons.
