  • Function

    ATP-dependent RNA helicase. Acts as a cofactor for XPO1-mediated nuclear export of incompletely spliced HIV-1 Rev RNAs. Also involved in HIV-1 replication. Interacts specifically with hepatitis C virus core protein resulting in a change in intracellular location.

Yes, the antibody can be stored at -20°C, just be sure to avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles. Frozen is the preferred storage condition beyond a few months.
The X and Y versions are very similar in size. The X isoform has two isoforms of its own, 662 and 646 amino acids respectively. The Y form is 660 amino acids.
