Application Abreviews Notes
WB Use a concentration of 0.1 - 0.3 µg/ml. Detects a band of approximately 70 kDa (predicted molecular weight: 71 kDa).Can be blocked with Human DDX5 peptide (ab23200).
IHC-P Use a concentration of 2 - 5 µg/ml. Perform heat mediated antigen retrieval with citrate buffer pH 6 before commencing with IHC staining protocol.

  • HT1080 cells were fixed with paraformaldehyde permeabilized with Triton (1%) and stained for 1 hr in a 1/100 dilution of the DDX5 antibody and thereafter for 1 hr with a rhodamine conjugated anti-goat secondary. This image was kindly supplied as part of the review submitted by Reinhard Kodym.
  • ab10261 staining (0.5µg/ml) of A431 cell lysate (RIPA buffer, 35µg total protein per lane). Primary incubated for 1 hour. Detected by western blot using chemiluminescence.
  • Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded Human prostate tissue, staining DDX5 with ab10261 at 2.5 µg/ml. Staining was detected using Alkaline-Phosphatase .
