    Could be involved in oogenesis. Involved in the regulation of endosome dynamics. Implicated in a novel signal transduction pathway, in which isoform 3 and CSK are sequentially activated by RHOD to regulate the motility of early endosomes through interactions with the actin cytoskeleton.

Following a BLAST search with the immunogen I can confirm the following: The immunogen sequence used to generate the antibody has 100% identity with the following protein names: -diaphanous 2 isoform 156 (human) -diaphanous protein homolog 2 (diaphanous related formin 2, DRF2) (human) -DIA-156 protein (human) The sequence has 90% identity with: -DIA3 (mouse) -DRF2, mDIA3 (mouse) -DIA (mouse) The sequence gas 68% identity with: -diaphanous homolog 2 of chicken Therefore the antibody should recognise diaphanous 2 isoform 156 (human), diaphanous protein homolog 2, (diaphanous related formin 2, DRF2), DIA-156 protein (human) and as the homology with mouse is quite high it may cross react with mouse.
