Thank you for your inquiry. Abcam biochemicals are novel compounds and we have not tested their biological activity in house. As such, we can only offer advice based on published literature. Unfortunately I am unable to find specific examples of DL-AP5 sodium salt usage in a ferritin/iron brain assay. However following pH testing, I can confirm the pH of DL-AP5 sodium salt as pH6. We also recommend consulting literature when identifying how to use our products effectively.
