Additional Notes
The ED18 mice primary striatal neurons cultured with 10% serum. The cells were 4% formaldehyde fixed (5min) and then incubated in 10% normal donkeys serum in 0.1% PBS-0.3% TritonX for 30 minutes to permeabilise the cells and block non-specific protein-protein interactions. The cells were then incubated with Anti-DMT1 antibody (ab55812) 1/200 dilution overnight at +4°C. The secondary antibody (green) was Alexa Fluor® 488 anti-rabbit raised in donkey used at a 1/1000 dilution for 1h. DMT1 expressed in the membrane of neurons and in glia.
